   This is a great way to get into leathercrafting. I've do e so.e work with EVA before but I now have a new favorite medium. Leather is extremely fun to work with and is such a great, lasting material. This Imperial Knight bundle is wayyyyyy worth it!!!

   I'm about a month into the build, and have pretty much everything done, I do have to redo the legs, though. I would NOT recommend doing the legs with anything less than 7-8oz leather or else it's too flimsy to wear properly. (Mine sink down when I wear them, no matter how tight I have them. I figured 4-5oz would be thick enough since it's just for show, but I'm redoing them in 8-10oz) I'm absolutely in love with the rest, though. This build has been both challenging and very much rewarding, and I've been able to hone my abilities greatly from building this set. I couldn't possibly be happier with my current progress.

   Its like a big puzzle. You cut the pieces, drill the holes, paint and dye, all the while testing and adjusting to make it personal and custom fitting. Great project, complete addiction, as its easy to keep grabbing another piece, just one more, before bed. Working 4 months so far and still have a lot to do. Cant wait to wear at the RenFest in Kansas City.

   Pattern and video made it fairly simple to make the breastplate, and I have to say I have found I really enjoy working with leather.
