   This is my first piece of armor ever and this was SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE!! The pattern was amazing and easy to understand and assemble. The YouTube view tutorial was a lifesaver and definitely worth the time to watch and rewatch. If you are looking at this pattern and wondering... stop wondering, BUY IT, MAKE IT! It is a blast! I CANNOT wait to make the other patterns I've bought and also put my own spin on some of them! Thank you so much Prince Armory Academy!

   Second piece here. It was more challenging to make the shape and align the plates, and it was my first time using double cap rivets and chicago screws (bought online 'cos you don't find those in my city). Once you start assembling the side pieces everythings looks harmonic. The only con is that the final piece fits too tight on my head so I'll have to make it again and scale it a bit bigger

   Pretty simple pattern that has a lot of potential to be used in many ways. I made the whole helm and then made a different front piece for non-combat (display) purposes. The whole fantasy series is a great way to learn the ins and outs of leatherworking. I'd recommend ANY pattern from Prince Armory.

   I made my helmet from eva foam and worbla. It's really sturdy and after adding some foam strips on
   the inside it's comfy as well. Overall a really satisfying and cool-looking build!

   Fantastic pattern! Mine came out not so great due to my own fault. I sealed the leather and forgot to wet form anything so the shape wasn?t perfect. I also wanted to add black trim to the edges but again sealed it. Hey I?m still learning ok. The patter. Is great though. I?d suggest Printing out a few copies for the piece that requires you to make multiples.

   I loved this pattern, it was a lot easier than I thought and since I've had the pattern for over a year I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. I used 5/6oz leather for mine, and I used Angelus airbrush paints for both of the colors. The last thing I changed was I used buttons for all 4 locations on the face shield as it still allows you to flip it up and down, or even remove it entirely.
   
   The suggestion I would have to new makers that want to try it, is the helmet may fit rather snug, so plan accordingly.

   I really enjoyed making this piece. It fits my head well and the youtube tutorial was very helpful. I would love to see a video on how to line pieces like this helmet with a more comfortable material or padding. Also I used the fiebings antique finish followed by the tuff kote finish, which caused the drip lines on my piece, but I kind of like the more scaly look of them.
